Product Overview

The original SIKA thermometer with high-quality V-shaped aluminium casing, smoothly polished on all sides, anodised in golden colour. The numbers of the display range are printed in black on the right-hand side of the scale under the anodised layer. The print is thus permanently and indissolubly fixed in the anodised layer.

Our thermometer is available as standard in three nominal sizes, each in straight or angled 90° version and many display ranges from -30...50 °C to 0...250 °C. In addition, immersion tubes optionally made of brass, steel, stainless steel, special brass or copper nickel alloy and a variety of selectable connection types and threads. Our standard range of industrial thermometers contains a total of more than 17,000 different variants.

Casing

Nominal size 200 mm, aluminium, V-shaped, smoothly polished on all sides, anodised in brass colour, numbers of the display range printed in black on the right-hand side of the scale under the anodised layer. Adjustable by means of brass lock nut (AF22), can be read in any viewing direction, 90° for angle thermometers, connection immersion tube / casing by grooved pin and locking screw. Advantage: No turning of the casing required during assembly.

Glass insert (capillary)

Prismatic capillary in rod form made of solid glass, approx. 8 mm Ø, as well as white background with blue liquid filling and yellow background with mercury*. The graduation of the capillary is burnt in black and therefore absolutely durable. Main graduation marks, which correspond to the numbers printed in the casing, are particularly strong and distinctive.

Thermometric filling

In standard version from -30 to 250 °C blue thermometric liquid ("Fü").

Immersion tube

Made of brass as a standard for temperatures of up to 250 °C. Made of stainless steel on request. The diameter of the immersion tube type "Da" is Ø 10 mm; wall thickness 1 mm. The immersion tube lengths are matched to protection tubes DIN 43772, form 8 and 9 as well as DIN 16179, form CS. Scale graduation and error limits

SIKA industrial thermometers meet the requirements of DIN 16195 "Requirements and testing of industrial glass thermometers". Scale graduation values and error limits are defined depending on the casing size and the display range.
